Important notice for GIN Combi container owners

Pilots with GIN Combi containers purchased between June 2014 and Jone 2015 are advised to contact their GIN distributor for a replacement rescue handle.

During quality control procedures, a small percentage of handles from a particular production batch were found to have insufficient stitching. This could result in the handle tearing during use. The vast majority of the defective handles have already been controlled prior to delivery.

However, Gin Gliders have taken the precautionary measure of recalling the entire production batch to ensure that the safety of pilots is guaranteed.

Please note, this advisory applies only to the GIN combi container purchased after June 2014 and before June 2015. Earlier and later production batches are not affected.

Also note that UK Airsports have contacted all dealers that were supplied with potentially affected containers and handles and notified them of the number of containers affected and the dates they were supplied in order to help them notify respective owners.
