UK Airsports – Last updated 28/11/2019

Safety notice: Gingo Airlite 4 / Verso 3

Early production models of the Gingo Airlite 4 and Verso 3 harnesses have been noted to have issues with the rescue handle  being too short. This may cause the handle to work loose after prolonged agitation of the harness due to transportation or ground handling.

For a full explanation of how to determine if your model is affected, please download the following pdf: safety-notice-2019-11-25.pdf  which also gives details of the recommended action. If in any doubt, please contact your GIN dealer.

Below you can see a list of serial numbers that may be affected:

In case your harness may be affected you can check the rescue handle yourself by simply measuring it as described in the pdf: safety-notice-2019-11-25.pdf and illustrated below:

If your rescue handle falls within the specifications outlined in the pdf then you should contact the retailer that sold you the harness to obtain a replacement handle. You will need to give the serial number of your harness. If you have any issues then you can contact UK Airsports for further information.

In addition, we remind all pilots of the importance of pre-flight checks as detailed in the relevant product manuals which are available on the respective product pages.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, thank you very much for flying GIN.
