Launch

Handling
In the air, the JOIN‘T5 impresses with its precise responsiveness, even in the upper, ergonomic working range. The low brake pressure is energy-saving—ideal for long workdays.
The wing offers a playful handling with finely adjustable bank angles. Thanks to its direct handling, dynamic maneuvers like wingovers become a true pleasure for both pilot and passenger. The brake pressure increases linearly, becoming noticeably firmer up to the stall point, providing a secure and controlled flying experience.
Performance
The excellent glide performance of the JOIN‘T5 not only enables XC flights with passengers but also allows the wing to lift off quickly from the ground. Furthermore it enables a strong flare to reduce momentum during landing, ensuring a smooth and safe touchdown.
Extreme flight
The JOIN‘T5 demonstrates highly manageable and forgiving flight characteristics in extreme flight conditions.
Due to its wide weight range, it responds slightly slower in the lower weight range and the pilot may notice a delayed reaction.

In the upper weight range, the forces are quite high, making the B-stall more challenging.
– Ohren anlegen
The split A-risers on the JOIN‘T5 make performing big ears particularly easy. An integrated CLAMCLEAT on the riser allows for fixing the lines.
To use this feature, simply pull the cover down and the outer A-line can be secured in the cleat. This allows the JOIN‘T5 to maintain in big ears posi- tion for extended periods, saving energy and freeing the pilot’s hands. After completing the maneuver, the cover should be pushed back up to pre- vent any lines from tangling.
RISER
Brake Pulley – adjustable position
The brake pulley height can be optimally adjusted to suit the pilot’s ergonomics.
A second loop positioned slightly lower on the riser provides an alternative mounting option for the brake pulley. When the pulley is attached in this lower position, the brake line must be extended by 5cm.
CAUTION!
The extended brake travel will impact the wing’s flight characteristics. In challenging takeoff conditions, it is especially important to note that the wing will require increased brake input.
Trimmer System
The JOIN‘T5 features an efficient trimmer system with a 15 cm adjustment range, enabling a substantial speed increase.
When flying the JOIN‘T5 in the lower weight range, we recommend slightly opening the trimmer for opti- mal flight behavior.
The trimmer strap is easily secured with the EASYFIX magnet. To release, simply slide the magnet from top to bottom, allowing for quick and effortless adjustments.
